Job title: Finance Business Partner Location: Warwick/Hybrid Duration: 6 months initially Adecco is an employment consultancy.

The role: As a Finance Business Partner for Offshore Projects, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of a large capital investment project.
Your primary purpose will be to provide financial expertise and support to the Strategic Infrastructure business unit, enabling the successful delivery of projects.
Responsibilities: • Collaborate with the SI Offshore project teams to provide independent review and challenge on key financial matters, including budget setting, forecasting, and performance management.
• Attend Project Boards and Project Review Meetings as a subject matter expert.
• Lead key initiatives within the Finance Business Partner team to embed new processes and controls for improved financial management.
• Liaise with other teams, such as Investment Accountants, PMO, Commercial, Regulation, Risk, and Financial Control, to effectively communicate matters related to the Offshore portfolio.
• Independently solve problems and manage priorities, adapting to competing demands as they arise.
• Bring clarity to complex commercial scenarios, considering both commercial and business risks and broader strategic imperatives.
Requirements: • Qualified Accountant with post-qualification experience (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, etc.).
• Experience operating as a finance business partner on large-scale complex investment projects.
• Ability to balance support for the business with having challenging conversations to drive financial performance.
• Resilient individual capable of focusing on the right priorities within the given context.
• Demonstrated financial and business leadership behaviors to ensure delivery against expected outcomes.
• Commercially minded with strong stakeholder management skills to build trusted working relationships.
• Relationship builder with the ability to lead and play a team role as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
• Continuous improvement mindset with a track record of implementing effective and sustainable improvements with stakeholder buy-in.
