As the Resident Electrical Engineer, you will work across multiple large scale Solar PV sites in England.
Role & Responsibilities: - Conduct daily HV, MV, and LV electrical inspections, audits and oversee commissioning to ensure safety and compliance.
- Prepare detailed reports within 3 days of site visits, address system integrity and remotely follow up on unresolved issues.
- Review Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) to ensure adherence to electrical quality standards and resolve design deviations.
- Collaborate with project teams and contractors to ensure compliance and resolve electrical safety or quality concerns.
- Provide regular updates to the project team, attend meetings and communicate findings from site inspections and commissioning.
Skills And Experience: - A degree or an equally valued qualification within Electrical Engineering or similar related field - Minimum of 10+ years experience in Construction - Fluency in English for all written and verbal communications - Effective verbal and written communication skills, being able to convey technical information clearly and concisely to various stakeholders - Clear understanding and knowledge of HSE - Proficiency in quality control and compliance - Effective progress tracking and reporting abilities Logistics: - Start Date: ASAP, can wait until the end of October for the right candidate - Employment Term: Minimum 4 month contract (Possibility of extension) - Working Arrangement: 4 days of site visits with 1 day WFH to produce and submit reports If you think you would be an excellent fit for this position and have carried out a similar job before, then please don't hesitate to apply or get in touch with myself directly via email or phone Tel: 0161 240 3750 Email: ******
