Job Title: Panel Wirer Location: Droitwich Hours: Monday to Thursday: 07:30 - 16:30 Friday: 08:00 - 13:00 Total Weekly Hours: 39 hours Overtime: Monday to Saturday: x1.5/ Sunday: x2 Salary: £14.60 per hour (Annual Salary: £29,604) Duration: Permanent Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Panel Wirer to join our team.
In this permanent role, you will be responsible for assembling and wiring control panels, ensuring high standards of quality and safety.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with wiring and control systems, the ability to read technical schematics, and a proactive approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities: Control Panel Assembly and Wiring: Assemble and wire control panels in accordance with technical specifications and wiring diagrams, ensuring precision and quality.
Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough quality checks on all wiring and components to ensure compliance with safety standards, industry regulations, and company quality guidelines.
Collaboration and Troubleshooting: Work closely with engineering teams to identify and resolve wiring issues, ensuring effective and timely solutions.
Workspace Organization: Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with health and safety regulations to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
Continuous Improvement: Participate in ongoing initiatives to improve process efficiency, panel assembly techniques, and product quality.
Documentation and Inventory Management: Accurately document completed work, assist with the tracking of electrical components, and contribute to maintaining inventory levels of materials and supplies.
Skills and Experience Required: Proven experience as a Panel Wirer or in a similar electrical assembly role.
Strong understanding of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and electrical equipment.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve electrical wiring issues.
Knowledge of electrical safety standards and regulations.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
