Job summary Welcome to FCMS!We are seeking an experienced and proactive People Manager who will work in HR as part of our People and Wellbeing team for FCMS.
ThePeople Manager will act as part of the underpinning support team for allcolleagues and management in our 111 Call Handling Services based in Blackpool.They will support the team in continuing to deliver a common-sense basedapproach to our People centred businesses.People are at the core of all we do and this role demands acolleague that is passionate about those we serve.
You will love this rolebecause you will be proud to represent the Wellbeing team department alongsideall of the services that are serving patients.Pay: £28,000 - £31,000per annum depending on experienceHours: 37 hours per week flexible; including some evenings and weekends.
Qualifications:Essential:A people centred qualificationor proven learning experienceHighly desirable: CIPDqualification in People Management Base: Deskbased at Newfield House.

Blackpool, but will be required tovisit and potentially work from any of the sites we support.

This role requires you to support implementation of legalissues, development of the law into pragmatic practice and to work withpolicies, processes, and legislation as our framework.To ensure that terms and conditionsare maintained, supports the foundation of a colleagues experience with us.
To ensure that continuous qualityimprovements are identified and implemented in line with various legalities.To support the growth of the business,if necessary, through the TUPE process.
InternalRelationships: We want our 111 team to have as goodan experience as possible.
This is a difficult service due to the volume andintensity of the calls.
Supporting a positive experience is really important tous.
Creating relationships is vital foryou to succeed in this role.
Understanding the different challenges that ourcall handlers face, and their individual needs is crucial.
You will bring anexcellent level of empathy.
It is important to recognise that wesometimes have challenging individuals and behaviours to manage.
You will useyour experience of working with people to seek to understand, advise andsupport.
To support managers in thedisciplinary and grievance procedures and become actively involved in theprocess when appropriate and necessary.
To ask questions of the data presentedfor the benefit of an assured and complete process.
To ensure that rapport is builtquickly to gain trust and create effective lines of communication that thenbecome established with all managers and colleagues.To support the 111 Operational Management team; OperationalManager and Specialists with colleagues attendance Support in the management of HR related budgets Attend and proactively contribute toIG, CQC and peer meetings.Be innovative in approach to peopleand business needs and to have common sense solutions.
Ability to aim to deliver highcolleague satisfaction.
Desire to improve peoples experience.
Externalrelationships: To ensure peoples records andcorrespondence are up to date and appropriately managed.To link into and utilise advisoryservices and external guidance as required.To be active in seeking newopportunities for the benefit of the team Changemanagement: To be a key part of the changemanagement process through communication to support change throughout itsjourney at all different times.

Person Specification Qualifications Essential A people centred qualification or proven learning experience Desirable 5 GCSEs A* - C including English Language or equivalent experience.
