GSL Education are seeking a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant (TA) to join a supportive school in Ringwood .
This is an exciting opportunity to provide personalised support to students who need extra help to succeed in their educational journey.
As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant (TA), you will work closely with individual students, tailoring your support to their unique learning needs and helping them overcome challenges.
Responsibilities as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant (TA): Provide focused, one-on-one support to students, ensuring they receive the attention they need to succeed.
Assist in delivering engaging and effective lessons tailored to the individual student's learning style.
Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom atmosphere where the student feels valued and supported.
Track student progress, providing constructive feedback and encouragement to boost their confidence and motivation.
Support the student during break times and extracurricular activities, promoting social skills and interactions.
Help maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment conducive to personal and academic growth.
Requirements for the 1:1 Teaching Assistant (TA) role: Previous experience as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is desirable.
Strong understanding of diverse learning needs and effective support strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
To work with GSL Education as 1:1 Teaching Assistant (TA) you should: Have the right to work in the UK.
Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
Have an enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
