GSL Education are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant (TA) to join a friendly and inclusive school in Wimborne .
About the Role: As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant (TA) , you will work closely with an individual student, tailoring your support to their specific learning needs and helping them overcome challenges in their educational journey.
Responsibilities: Provide focused, one-on-one support to the assigned student, ensuring their academic and personal needs are met.
Assist in delivering engaging lessons that are adapted to the student's unique learning style.
Foster a positive and supportive learning environment, encouraging student growth and confidence.
Monitor and document the student's progress, offering constructive feedback to teachers and caregivers.
Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure a holistic approach to the student's education.
What We're Looking For: Previous experience working with children or young people, especially in a 1:1 setting , is desirable.
Strong understanding of diverse learning needs and effective support strategies.
Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
Flexibility and adaptability to respond to the changing needs of the student.

Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from the last two years.
Have an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one through GSL Education.
