We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Support Worker to join a school that specializes in supporting children with ASD.
This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with students, helping them thrive both academically and socially in a supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 support to a child with ASD, adapting to their individual needs.
Assist with classroom activities and ensure the child is fully engaged in learning.
Support the child with emotional, social, and behavioural needs.
Work collaboratively with teachers, SEN staff, and parents to implement tailored strategies.
Encourage the child's independence and boost their confidence.
Requirements: Experience working with children, particularly those with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build a trusting relationship with the child.
Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
Relevant qualifications in Education, Psychology, or Child Development (desirable but not essential).
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
