We are looking for candidates with experience and knowledge of SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) to provide tailored support for students with Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs).

Key Details: Start Date: January Salary: £85-£95 per day (dependent on experience) Location: Local Primary Schools Experience/Knowledge of SEND: Essential (Professional or personal experience welcome) Right to Work in the UK: Essential Driving Licence: Beneficial Education/SEND-related Qualifications: Beneficial but not essential Role Responsibilities: As a 1:1 EHCP Support Assistant , your responsibilities will include: Supporting students with EHCPs to ensure their educational, health, and social needs are met within the mainstream primary school setting.
Assisting students with SEND (including Autism, ADHD, or other specific needs) in their academic tasks and helping them fully participate in classroom activities.
Implementing strategies to support students' learning, focusing on both academic achievement and personal development.
Providing emotional and behavioral support, fostering a positive and supportive environment for students with SEND.
Collaborating with teachers and the SENDCo to ensure the student's individual needs are being met and their progress is monitored effectively.
Promoting social skills and independence, encouraging students to interact with their peers and become more confident in school settings.
Providing feedback on students' progress to teachers, parents, and other relevant professionals.
Offering personal care and welfare support where required, ensuring the student's well-being throughout the school day.
