1:1 SEN Teaching Assistants Location: Bournemouth Rate: £12.82 per hour Contract type: Full-time or Part-time (based on candidate availability) Start Date: November 2024 or January 2025 Are you passionate about supporting students with special educational needs on a one-to-one basis?
GSL Education are looking for dedicated 1:1 Special Educational Needs ( SEN) Teaching Assistants to join a welcoming team in Bournemouth .
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact on the educational journey of individual students who need additional support.
Key Responsibilities: Provide personalised one-on-one support to students with special educational needs (SEN).
Assist students with their learning, helping them overcome challenges and stay engaged in the classroom.
Implement tailored learning strategies in line with individual education plans (IEPs).
Work collaboratively with teachers and SEN coordinators to ensure the best learning outcomes.
Offer emotional and behavioral support as needed, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment.
The successful candidate will: Have previous experience working with children with SEN (preferred but not essential).
Show a passion for supporting students' learning and development.
Be patient, understanding, and able to build rapport with individual students.
Have knowledge of safeguarding and child protection.
Hold or be willing to apply for an enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
