Protocol Education are looking to recruit a learning support assistant/teaching assistant to join a SEND provision in a mainstream Chelmsford primary school.
The students that are in the schools SEN provision have a variety of special needs, either ASD/Social, Emotional, Mental Health needs (SEMH)/complex learning disabilities or have been identified as having a statement of an educational need.
There are currently 3 children within this provision that need a specialised SEN LSA to support in their learning and development.
All staff work to inspire, motivate, challenge and support each pupil, no matter what their individual needs may be.
A friendly and positive approach to teaching and learning, as well as the ability to quickly build up strong relationships and rapport with individual children is important.
This is a long-term, full-time position so we are looking for candidates to be available 5 days a week between the hours of 8:30am-15:30pm.
Duties as a 1:1 SEN LSA Include: • Assisting in delivering effective teaching in small groups • Helping with the planning and delivery of lessons • Supporting the development of pupils, educational and behaviour related as well as SEND support • Preparing classroom resources • Providing feedback to teachers and parents Benefits of working with Protocol Education • PAYE pay at no cost to you.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
