Role: 1:1 Behavioural Support Staff Location: Bedford, MK42 Job Type: Temporary - Permanent Salary: £85 - £90 Per day We are looking for a full time 1:1 Behavioural Support Staff to support in a SEN Primary/Secondary School based in Bedford starting in December 2024.
Please see details below This school are dedicated to providing excellent education and support for children and young people aged 2 to 19 with severe and complex learning difficulties and health, and care needs.
Job Duties: Supporting class Senior LSA's and Teachers with the preparation of resources to meet the personalised learning intentions of allocated students.
Providing 1:1 support under the supervision of the class Teacher for the delivery of skills-based learning.
Work closely with class Teacher to report on progress using an evidence-based approach To enable students to learn by; understanding their learning goals and targets; enable them to practice and learn new skills and challenge them to be as independent as possible To be involved in the provision of all aspects of support necessary that will ensure the students wellbeing and ability to function and engage in learning.
To understand and fully implement Safeguarding policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications: A minimum of GCSE qualifications in English and Maths.
Experience: Prior experience working in a similar role within an educational setting would be ideal but not necessary.
This role comes with additional responsibilities to that of a 1:1 Behavioural Support Staff.
