Job Title: Site Engineer Location: Bromsgrove Salary: £60,000 or £350 per day About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Site Engineer to join our team on an exciting set of projects around the Bromsgrove area.
Our client is leading a critical infrastructure development, focusing on groundworks and civil engineering.
Key Responsibilities: - Oversee and manage site activities related to earthworks, culverts, and general civil engineering tasks.
- Ensure all work is carried out to the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to maintain smooth site operations.
- Conduct site surveys, setting out, and ensuring accurate levels using modern survey instruments.
- Monitor and report on progress, ensuring timelines and budgets are adhered to.
- Implement health and safety procedures, ensuring a safe working environment at all times.
Requirements: - Proven experience in a similar role within the construction industry, particularly in earthworks and civil engineering.
- Strong knowledge of site engineering techniques and construction processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency with modern survey equipment; having your own robotic instrument is preferred but not essential.
- A valid driving license is required.
