Senior Payroll Officer Location: St. Albans Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum About Our Client: - Rapidly growing outsourced Consultancy.
- Based in the vibrant city of St. Albans.
- Specialises in providing comprehensive professional services to a diverse range of clients.

- Increasing number of clients and high volume of weekly paid staff.
Type: Full-time, Permanent Key Responsibilities: - Manage end-to-end payroll processes for a high volume of weekly paid staff.
- Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timeliness in all payroll activities.
- Process payroll data, including new hires, terminations, changes in salaries or benefits, timesheets, and deductions.
- Review and validate timesheets, ensuring adherence to company policies and relevant regulations.
- Prepare and reconcile payroll reports, tax filings, and other payroll-related documentation.
- Assist the Payroll support team to manage employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits, and deductions in a professional and timely manner.
- Stay updated with legislative changes, industry trends, and best practices in payroll administration to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Qualifications and Experience: - Prior payroll experience in high volume payroll processing within a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in using payroll software and MS Office suite, with Excel skills.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and excellent numerical accuracy.
- Exceptional communication skills to interact effectively with team members, clients, and external parties.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple priorities effectively.
