About the role To our depot based in Paisley we are looking for a Yard Labourer who will be responsible for ensuring that all hires and off-hires are delivered, collected and serviced in a timely and efficient manner, which in turn will improve revenue and customer satisfaction.
Who we are looking for To be successful in the role you should have: Previous experience in the similar position Attention to details UK driving license As the Yard Labourer will be responsible for: Assisting in the loading, unloading and delivery of plant equipment, specifically pumps and generators through use of a Forklift Truck.
Working closely with the Depot Foreman and Manager to act quickly where problems arise within the depot and to an open system of communication to ensure the consistent treatment of problems.
Assisting in ensuring the vehicles and associated equipment are maintained to a high standard in keeping with both Statutory and Company Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental Standards.
Adhering to all Health & Safety Procedures within workshop environment Working closely with the Hire Controller, Driver and Service Engineers to ensure all hires proceed smoothly, Reporting any major problems within the equipment to the Foreman / Depot Supervisor.
Ensuring adherence to all Company Policies and Procedures Being fully conversant and compliant with all Environmental Health & Safety procedures.
