Main duties of the job Please note this role is a bank role and therefore there is no commitment to specific or minimum number of hours.
The working hours will vary and are flexible and the post holder will be required to support on an as and when basis supporting rapid fluctuations in demand.Reporting to the Workforce Solutions Manager, you will be responsible for delivering operational workforce support services to a number of NHS and non NHS clients.
You will deliver independent workplace investigations including but not limited to disciplinary, grievance and dignity and work, taking responsibility for managing allocated cases to conclusion, leading investigation activity and presenting the case at any subsequent hearing.
The vast majority of this will be remote, via MS Teams.You may be asked to support other workforce activity in relation to HR projects and independent reviews delivered on behalf of clients.

Person Specification Essential Essential Educated to degree level or equivalent with specialist knowledge of HR.
Essential Essential CIPD Qualified to degree level or equivalent experience Essential Essential Proven track record and specialist experience of leading complex ER activity including investigations involving senior managers across multiple complex organisations.
Essential Essential Significant knowledge of employment legislation, case law plus knowledge of HR best practise and trends.
Essential Essential Significant experience of presenting investigatory findings to hearing panels.
Essential Essential Experience of working in partnership with external stakeholders.
Essential Essential Able to work under pressure and prioritise own workload to effectively deliver to service deadlines.
Essential Essential In depth computer literacy, especially using Microsoft Office applications Essential Essential Excellent communication skills including the ability to communicate complex and sensitive information.
Desirable Desirable Experience of working in a fast-paced HR, people related or investigatory environment
