We're seeking a Work Placement Coordinator to play a pivotal role in connecting our Health, Care, and Early Years students with enriching vocational experiences.
This role is 25 hours per week, term-time only, offering a great work-life balance.
You'll work closely with academic staff to: Arrange and manage work placements tailored to students' course requirements.
Monitor student progress, ensuring a positive and productive placement experience.
Build and maintain strong relationships with local employers, creating lasting partnerships.
Organise internal work experience opportunities within the College.
Carry out workplace assessments and observations of learners.
Ensure all necessary Health and Safety checks and consent forms are completed before placements.
Report on attendance, punctuality, and behaviour of students during placements.
Work Placement Coordinator - You: To excel in this role, you will need: A Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care/Early Years.
GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade C or above).
Strong organisational skills to juggle multiple tasks effectively.
The ability to build positive relationships with colleagues, students, and external partners.
A motivated, proactive attitude towards working with children and vulnerable adults.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to support and inspire our students.
