Job Description: Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (part-time option available) Work Model : Hybrid, offering flexible work patterns or Office-based Working Hours: Full-time: Monday to Friday, 9 am – 5 pm Part-time: Up to 20 hours per week A prestigious law firm in Market Harborough is seeking an experienced solicitor or legal executive to join our friendly and professional team in the dynamic field of Wills and Probate.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with 3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) to make a meaningful impact in clients' lives by providing comprehensive legal services with a client-centred approach.
Key Responsibilities: Drafting wills, trusts, and lasting powers of attorney (LPAs) Managing probate applications and administering estates Providing tailored advice on estate planning, trusts, and tax implications Liaising with clients, beneficiaries, and other professionals to facilitate a smooth process Keeping up-to-date with relevant legislation and best practices Adhering to the firm's commitment to 'Caring for Clients and their Generations' Essential Skills and Experience: Qualified solicitor/legal executive with 3 years PQE in Wills and Probate Law Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to client consultations Strong organisational capabilities and attention to detail Commitment to ensuring client work progresses in a timely manner and clients are informed about progress and costs Dedication to providing outstanding client care throughout every matter Commitment to continuous professional development Benefits: Canteen Company events Company pension Free parking On-site parking Work-from-home options Flexitime Performance bonus Additional Information: Ability to commute/relocate: Reliable commute to Market Harborough or plan to relocate before starting work Education: LLB Hons Law Degree, LPC or equivalent (preferred) Experience: 3 years in legal drafting (preferred); 3 years in relevant work (required) Language: Fluent English (required) Work authorization: United Kingdom (required) Joining this firm means becoming part of a supportive environment that fosters professional growth and development, working alongside experts in the field.
