About the Role As the Wedding & Events Coordinator , you'll be at the forefront of transforming dreams into reality.
From the first inquiry to the final farewell, youll ensure every detail of our weddings and events is meticulously planned and flawlessly executed.
Your exceptional organisational skills, creativity, and customer service will help us deliver bespoke experiences that exceed expectations.
Key Responsibilities Sales & Client Engagement: Proactively contact new sales leads and respond to incoming inquiries.
Promote and sell the hotels full range of facilities.
Conduct engaging show rounds that captivate prospective clients.
Event Coordination: Host client meetings to guide them from initial inquiries through to final details.
Collaborate with internal teams and trusted external suppliers to ensure seamless execution of events.
Plan and communicate every detail to guarantee smooth operations.
Wedding Expertise: Organise wedding-specific events, such as open days and wedding fayres.
Essential Skills & Qualifications Experience & Knowledge: Proven experience in wedding planning or event management within the hospitality sector.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Familiarity with a Windows-based PMS system (Reslynx or Opera) is desirable.
Personal Attributes: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build trust with high-end clientele.
Strong multitasking abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on delivering excellence.
Resilience under pressure, with the ability to adapt and meet tight deadlines.
Creativity and a passion for curating bespoke weddings and events.
