About the roleWe've got an amazing opportunity to join our Wastewater Networks team at Northumbrian Water to support the effective operation and maintenance of the sewerage network.
You'll be responsible for investigations to reduce sewer flooding, pollution incidents and other sewerage network issues.
If you are passionate about the environment, we want to hear from you.The role will require you to complete comprehensive network investigations to identify the root cause of issues and follow through on delivery of recommendations to improve the sewer network.You will have face to face contact with customers in our operating region.

This can only be achieved by having effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders and will involve site investigations and meetings with the EA, Local Authorities and contractors.You will need to produce reports based on site findings in a timely manner with tight deadlines to a high standard of accuracy, you will be expected to present the information and data to our key business stakeholders.About youWe're looking for the successful candidate to have proven experience of excellent customer service skills and of working in a customer focussed environment, along with experience of Health and Safety procedures and ideally knowledge and understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks (e.g.
customer, financial, H&S, quality, environmental).You'll have proven experience of being a strong team player involving and supporting others in problem solving and decision making processes, along with effective relationship management and networking ability (across all areas of a business and with external stakeholders).We're looking for you to excellent proven good communication and interpersonal skills, along with excellent literacy and numeracy and problem solving skills and be innovative, look for and highlight potential improvements of ways of working.
