Warehouse Team Leader

Pertemps Recruitment in Sheffield are recruiting on behalf of one of our clients based in the Pontefract area.
A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Warehouse Team Leader Hours of Work Monday to Friday: Start at 7:30am – 4pm Monday – Thursday 2:45 finish on Friday Location: Pontefract WF9 Job Duties: • Managing the team: Assigning tasks, creating work schedules, and monitoring employee performance • Ensuring orders are fulfilled: Processing distribution orders and production picklists in a timely manner • Maintaining a safe and productive environment: Ensuring the warehouse is safe and productive, and that everyone is working efficiently • Providing customer service: Interacting with clients and ensuring that the warehouse provides excellent customer service • Coordinating with other departments: Working with other departments to coordinate pickups and deliveries, and to troubleshoot problems • Handling paperwork: Creating and maintaining records using a computer Key Skills/Competencies • Proactive problem solving • Knowledge of WMS systems • Excellent PC skills, particularly Microsoft Office • Diligence • Meticulousness • Professionalism Monday to Friday Day rates- £13.00ph - £14.00ph DOE All workers pay rates are based on PAYE, we do not accept self-employed or Umbrella companies.
On top of the Hourly rate, you will accrue Holiday pay, which on average is based on 2 days a month on a 40hr week, Holidays are NOT paid in advance to make the rate look higher.
You are enrolled into an optional Pension scheme that can be opted out & SSP is paid if any sickness after a certain period of working time.
