They are urgently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join their small, friendly and supportive team in an environment that can be fast paced at times and different every day.
As a Warehouse Operative your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Handling and processing customers commodities within set timeframes.
Complying with Health & Safety, local legislative requirements and company policies and procedures at all times.
Carrying out all special instructions as noted on paperwork.
Ensuring all documentation is completed as per requirements.
Basic computer / Android device knowledge.
To be a successful Warehouse Operative you must have: A 5-year checkable work history and a clear DBS check.
Experience of using IT systems.
A keen team player.
Good timekeeping and agreeable to shift patterns.
Knowledge of warehouse scanning systems would be advantageous.
Be physically fit and be able to handball loose cargo.
Strong communication skills and literacy.
Good attention to detail as you will be working with government agencies and in line with strict policies and procedures.
Counterbalance forklift licence, refreshed within the last 2 years would be ideal.
Reach truck licence would be advantageous.
