Warehouse Operative Nth York Area Location: Nth York Area (Knaresborough/Wetherby/Harrogate/Boroughbridge off A1M) Pay Rate: £11.67 per hour (weekly paid) Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 15:30 Contract: Temporary to Permanent Our client, a leading business in the medical logistics sector, is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join their team in the York area.
This is a great opportunity for someone reliable and detail-oriented, with the potential to move into a permanent role.
Key Responsibilities: Loading and Unloading Vehicles : Safely load and unload goods from HGVs and other vehicles.
Paperwork Processing : Accurately complete documentation related to goods in/out.
General Housekeeping : Ensure the warehouse is kept clean and organized.
Liaising with Colleagues : Work closely with team members to ensure smooth operations.
Material Handling Equipment (MHE) : Use MHE to move goods around the warehouse (FLT experience preferred but not essential, as training will be provided to the right candidate).
Ideal Candidate: Punctual and reliable.
Strong attention to detail.
Good communication skills.
FLT training is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.
Due to the remote location of the site it is anticipated that you will require your own transport to get to/from work.
