An exciting opportunity for an Estimator has arisen and we would like to hear from you.
The Estimator/Senior Estimator is an integral member of the Work Winning Team; being responsible for the effective and efficient securing of suitable work for the Business.
It is expected that they will act in a professional and responsible way at all times maintaining good working relations with client, designers, site management, our chain of sub-contractors, and suppliers.
VolkerGroundEngineering are looking for the following: Experience Piling Geotechnical Estimating Reside in North West.
Role full time in Preston HQ but will need to travel to meet clients etc.
Role will involve provided tenders for Steel and concrete piling.
About you Foundation Degree / BTEC/ 2nd year Apprentice / Degree in Civil Engineering.
Minimum of 1 years of varied site experience in Civil Engineering.
Work in a Team Environment Logical and well organised with ability to prioritise Numerate and accurate Commercial Awareness (including risk management) Presentation skills - Written and Verbal Positive response to pressure Technically competent Proficient computer use - Microsoft Office and Project Negotiation skills Customer awareness Time management skills Flexibility and motivation / commitment Gains colleagues and customers respect for their views If your past experience doesn't match perfectly with every requirement of the job description, we still encourage you to apply.
