About you: We are currently seeking a talented and ambitious Video Editor with a strong background in video editing and scripting social media ads to join our team and support our paid advertising and content creation efforts.
In this role, you'll be responsible for editing videos for paid ad campaigns and organic channels and writing briefs for videographers and content creators to ensure the content is optimised to drive conversions and deliver a strong return on investment.
To thrive in this role, you must be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and well-organised.
A solid understanding of paid media and social media trends across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok is essential, along with the ability to work independently while managing multiple video projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities: Edit Video Content: Produce high-quality videos for paid advertising campaigns and organic social media channels.
Create Briefs: Prepare detailed briefs for videographers and content creators to source content that will drive conversion and awareness in paid ads and organic videos.
Optimise for Conversions: Ensure all ads video content is optimised to drive conversions and deliver a strong return on investment.
Stay Updated on Trends: stay on top of the latest social media trends, top performing video formats to make our ads and organic videos highly relevant & successful Research to emulate our competitors : Have a deep understanding of whats working in the DTC space Using data to improve: Analyse data hook rates, hold rates, conversions and engagement to drive decisions and improve future content.
Project Management: Manage multiple video projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines without compromising quality.
Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with the marketing and creative teams to align video content with overall campaign strategies.
Desired Qualities: 2 years of experience working at a creative marketing agency or on an internal creative team with a track record of producing winning ads Excellent skills with video editing tools like Premiere Pro & After Effects.
Extra credit if you know your way around Photoshop Able to work independently & goal orientated.
Knowledge of paid social media advertising (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok) and content sourcing for campaigns.
An eye for aesthetics and attention to detail when it comes to visual content and branding.
A desire to learn, grow, and develop your skills.
Not needed for this role but additional consideration for candidates who possess the ability to shoot / create their own content What are some of the perks?
