Veterinary Surgeon - East London

Overview:

Purovets is currently working with a fantastic independent Vet Practice based in London as they look to open an additional branch surgery and add to their expert clinical team.

Based in East London you will have the opportunity to work between both practices which are very close together.

This great practice was designed to provide a comfortable workspace with a lay-out that optimizes workflow from consultation rooms and separate wards to prep and theatre. They also have a great selection of equipment including ultrasound, multi parameter, in house blood analysers, urine and faecal analysis IMAGYST, K-Laser, fluid warmers, Digital X-Ray machine, Dental X-Ray, separate cat and dog wards with pet remedy diffusers in both to reduce stress plus plenty more.

They have a visiting orthopaedic specialist and work with several charities, which are provided with the same level of treatment as their pet patients. Do not forget their beautiful practice cat who is always seeking attention.

They have taken the feedback from their staff and have worked towards providing their team a thriving environment to work in. They take pride in having a friendly and positive atmosphere.
There is a friendly and supportive team who have a range of experience and enjoy working together to provide the best care possible for their patients.

Ideally you will have a couple of years' experience and will be comfortable with all elements of first opinion practice however, vets with less experience and an exceptional skill set will also be considered for the role.

You will be able to use all your veterinary capabilities and will have the opportunity to expand your knowledge, improve your skills and pursue any areas of special interest, with certificates being highly supported.

The Rota:
• 4 days per week (40 hours)
• Shift times vary between 8am and 8pm
• No OOH, on call, Sundays, or nights.
• Saturdays on a rota with time off in lieu

The Package:
• Salary up to £70,000 (DOE)
• CPD allowance with considerations for certificates and further qualifications
