Job Title : Venture Capital Investment Manager Location : Zurich, Switzerland Our Client, a dynamic, growth-focused venture capital firm based in Zurich, specializing in the SaaS, AI, and cybersecurity sectors.
Team is passionate about partnering with ambitious founders and cutting-edge technology companies shaping the future of enterprise software, artificial intelligence, and digital security.
With a robust portfolio of innovative startups, they aim to identify and scale the next generation of transformative companies.
They are looking for an experienced Investment Associate to join their Zurich-based team.
The ideal candidate will have approximately 5 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, or a related technology-focused role.
As an Investment Associate, you will play a key role in identifying, evaluating, and managing investments in high-growth technology companies.
Key Responsibilities Actively research and source high-potential investment opportunities in SaaS, AI, cybersecurity, and related fields, identifying market trends and competitive advantages.
Lead due diligence processes, including market analysis, financial modeling, competitor research, and technical assessments, to inform investment decisions.
Collaborate with portfolio companies to drive growth, develop go-to-market strategies, and solve strategic challenges.
Provide insights and support for key business initiatives.
Conduct in-depth market research to understand emerging trends and new technologies in SaaS, AI, cybersecurity, and adjacent sectors.
Build strong relationships with entrepreneurs, industry experts, co-investors, and thought leaders within the technology ecosystem to drive deal flow and support portfolio companies.
Prepare investment memos, present findings, and support the decision-making process for the investment committee.
Qualifications 5+ years of experience in venture capital, private equity, technology investment banking, management consulting, or a similar field with exposure to technology sectors.
Familiarity with SaaS, AI, and cybersecurity industries, with the ability to quickly understand new technologies and trends.
Proficient in financial modeling, data analysis, and market research, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex information to stakeholders.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
CFA or similar certifications are a plus.
Proficiency in English is required.
Additional languages (especially German) are advantageous but not mandatory.
