As a Vehicle Control Engineer, you will be responsible of our new Cabin Control Unit Application Software.
As part of Vehicle Control Team, you will be developing software using Model Based design following our processes from requirement to implementation.
You will work closely with the Testing team at the HIL rig and vehicle for validation and issues resolution.
You will be communicating with System Team, Project Management and Base Software Team.

Job Responsibilities: Analyze existing requirements and interfaces, make improvements and move forward the development of Body Control Algorithm within our ECUs.
Act as our internal point of Software contact for Vehicle Access Control, Light Control, Cabin Comfort, Vehicle Startup and Shutdown sequence, Interfaces with HMI.
Design, re-factor and implement Body Control Application Software Architecture in ECU.
Solve relevant application software issues and deliver new requirements according to Project timeline.
Implement Model Based Algorithm following our guidelines including test harness in MIL and PIL.
Provide regular Engineering Software builds for rapid prototyping of functions.
Work cross-functionally to deliver software components.
Website: REE Degree in Mechanical engineering, Electronics, Computer science, Automotive engineering or equivalent degree.
At least 5 years working in the automotive OEM or tier 1 industry in a similar role. Working experience with MathWorks Matlab Simulink & Stateflow.
Good knowledge of control theory, vehicle functions and networks.
Experience with Vector tools like CANape, CANAnalyzer.
Ability to deliver new functions and robust issue resolution with minimum supervision.
ASPICE and ISO26262 knowledge is a plus.
The office location is Siskin Dr, Coventry CV3 4FX.
Occasional travel to Horiba Mira (Nuneaton) at the vehicle test track might be required.
ILR to live and work in the UK.
