Shifts: This role will operate on our afternoon shift - Monday to Thursday - 2.00pm to 12.20am Salary: You will be paid an initial training rate until you are up to speed, you will then be paid piecework (so you will be rewarded for the more you make.)
Training rate £12ph rising to up to £14+ph.

What you'll be doing Collect and prepare all necessary components (e.g., fabric, foam, frames, springs) from various areas of the factory for the upholstery process.
Organise and ensure materials are clean, in good condition, and ready for use in the upholstery assembly.
Inspect materials for defects, ensuring that only high-quality components are passed on to the next stage in the production process.
Assist in assembling and preparing upholstered parts (e.g., backrests, cushions, armrests) to ensure they are ready for further upholstery or assembly.
Work closely with other teams, including upholsterers and frame assemblers, to ensure a smooth flow of production and timely completion of tasks.
Support the upholstery team by delivering prepped materials in a timely manner to meet production schedules.
Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring tools, materials, and equipment are stored safely and efficiently.
Handle tools and machinery used in the prep process, ensuring they are in good working condition and reporting any faults.
Follow safety guidelines and adhere to health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Be proactive in identifying opportunities to improve efficiency or quality within the preparation process.
Work flexibly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changes in production schedules or priorities as needed.

While previous upholstery experience is beneficial, its not essential, making it a great opportunity for those looking to progress into a full upholstery role in the future.
