Role Summary: We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Global Accounting to join our team in London, which offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic fast-paced environment for a global private equity backed company.
Experience of IFRS, complex multi-currency consolidations, group financial statements along with managing group audits are essential as is the understanding of accounting for M&A transactions and exit processes.

Key Accountabilities: Ownership of the Group financial statements and associated Group audit performed by KPMG.
Ownership of financial statements for various corporate and Jersey entities and associated audits where applicable.
Review and sign off on the Group's monthly results prior to distribution to owners - UK based PE house.
Ensure information is compliant with local laws, regulations, IFRS and any other applicable statutory requirements.
Ensure the Group's Finance Manual is kept up to date for changes to and new accounting standards.
Drive financial reporting process improvements.
Direct management and development of the accounting function based in London and Chennai.
Work alongside Group Tax, Group Treasury, Group FP&A, SSCs and Regional Finance teams providing guidance and leadership where required.
Practical application of expert technical accounting knowledge as required for the Group Audit and transactions (e.g., acquisitions & disposals) including writing and/or reviewing papers and associated accounting entries.
Appetite and capability to work in a fast-paced dynamic PE-backed environment.
Play a significant role in preparing the Group for a future sale/exit as well as confidently dealing with a professional due diligence process.
Review of subsidiary financial statements and dividend proposals.
Candidate Requirements: Post qualification experience of 5+ years Experience in developing and leading teams to achieve Project management experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills to lead, influence, motivate and negotiate diverse stakeholders Experience in working on a group consolidation system Ability to explain complex accounting issues to non-accounting customers at all levels within the organization Hands on, analytical and pragmatic approach with a strong attention to detail Ability to occasionally travel internationally and work out of hours.
