TP Tutors is looking for dedicated tutors in the Poole area to provide personalized support and make a meaningful difference in students' lives.
Role Overview: Subject Focus: Provide 1:1 support to SEN students in Maths, English, and Sciences.
Flexible Tutoring Options: Offer sessions in-person or online, accommodating tutoring at schools or homes.
Customized Learning Plans: Develop and implement tailored learning strategies to meet each student's unique needs and goals.
Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess and report on student progress, adjusting teaching methods as necessary to ensure continuous improvement.
Collaborative Approach: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to provide comprehensive support for students.
Requirements: Qualifications: QTS/PGCE certificate.
Experience: Previous experience working with SEN students is preferred.
Skills: Strong knowledge of the KS2, KS3, and KS4 curriculum, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for teaching.
Flexibility: Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles and needs.
Background Check: Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo a check).
