Transport Planner

The Transport Planner will be responsible for route planning, driver communications, and other transport related administrative duties in a busy transport office in Bellshill.
The key responsibilities for the role of Transport Planner based in Bellshill will be: Planning routes for class 1 and class 2 vehicles across Scotland.
Ensuring all routes comply with Driver's hours and WTD.
Ensuring all routes are optimised and profitable.
Completing tacho downloads.
Communicating with Drivers out on the road and customers, delivering updates and dealing with queries.
Completing any required Transport related admin tasks.
The successful candidate for the role of Transport Planner based in Bellshill will have: Experience working in a Transport office.
Experience planning routes for HGVs.
Knowledge of Driver's hours and transport compliance.
Great verbal and written communication skills.
The successful candidate for the role of Transport Planner based in Bellshill will receive: A salary of £25,000 - £30,000 DOE.
