We are currently looking for a Traffic Clerk to join our team at our Uddingston depot.
We are looking for a well organised individual to provide high level administrative support for the traffic team ensuring the accurate flow of information throughout our haulage operations, liaising with customers, providing timely updates, creating bookings of deliveries/collections, and liaising within the traffic team to ensure a smooth operation is delivered.
The hours for this role will be 42.5 hours per week, worked on a rolling shift pattern between 07:00 19:00 Monday Friday, with some Saturday working as per the agreed rota, which includes Saturday bonus payment.

Book in deliveries / collections as required, entering details into systems inline with process.
Liaising with including brief and de-briefing of drivers on a daily basis.
Provide regular situation reports and updates to relevant personnel in traffic team as required.
Handle real time communications with our drivers, solving or escalating issues as appropriate where they occur.
Work collaboratively with other WMA departments, Palletforce Members and Network.
Ensure pricing tables are up to date and jobs are invoiced accurately as required Liaise with customers and drivers, keeping a detailed record of actions on RR and HR records Requirements Previous experience of working within a transport office is preferred.
Previous transport / pallet network experience desirable.
Ability to work under pressure, and thrive in a busy, fast paced environment Ability to be a team player, having a flexible approach to work.
