Transport Clerk

Our client is looking for an experience transport clerk on a temp to perm basis to work in a new super hub being created, this is an exciting opportunity to join a new team and play apart in the implementation, offering new ideas and concepts to help in the success of this new site.
Job Description Manage and coordinate logistics operations.
Maintain detailed records of dispatched goods.
Coordinate with drivers and warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations.
Resolve any arising issues or complaints in a timely manner.
Ensure compliance with transport policies and regulations.
Prepare accurate reports for upper management.
Optimise transportation workflows for maximum efficiency.
Contribute to the continual improvement of transport processes.
Yard management communicating with shunters and warehouse staff to ensure smooth running.
The Successful Applicant Experience in the transport and distribution industry.
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Sound knowledge of transport regulations and policies.
Computer Literate Knowledge of Syncrotess system would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be given.
Be flexible with working hours.
