Were looking for an enthusiastic Trainee Fire and Safety Consultant to join our team.
This role focuses on fire safety while offering development opportunities in health and safety consultancy.
Role Overview: This is an exciting opportunity to build a career specialising in fire safety alongside learning broader health and safety practices.
Working closely with senior consultants, youll gain hands-on experience and training to grow into a confident and skilled professional.
Key Responsibilities: Fire Risk Assessments: Conduct site visits with senior consultants to evaluate fire safety, identify hazards, and recommend practical solutions.
Health and Safety Assessments: Assist with general health and safety site visits and compliance evaluations.
Client Support: Provide guidance on fire regulations and safety practices, helping clients achieve compliance.
Training & Development: Participate in structured training, including fire risk assessment qualifications, and gain experience in health and safety practices.
Report Preparation: Assist in drafting clear and actionable reports based on assessments.
Task & Diary Management: Plan and organise site visits and manage your workload effectively.
Requirements: Essential: A genuine interest in fire safety and developing a career in safety consultancy.
Commitment to learn Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Clear verbal and written communication skills.
Flexibility to travel across the UK, including occasional overnight stays.
Ability to manage your workload and prioritise tasks.
Full, clean UK driving licence.
Successful completion of a DBS check post-appointment.
Desirable but not essential: Basic understanding of fire safety principles.
IOSH Managing Safely qualification.
Previous experience in a field-based role or familiarity with risk assessments.
