Trade Counter Business Manager Trade Counter Business Manager Full Time Milton Keynes, UK With Professional Experience 11/20/24 Sikla UK & Ireland is now setting up a new trade counter in Milton Keynes, making its pipe fitting products available for the local MEP contractors.
This is a unique opportunity for someone with retail experience in this industry to run and explore a new sales area of the company as a business unit on its own.
The Trade Counter Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the trade counter, ensuring excellent customer service, and managing inventory.
You will liaise with other departments to ensure the right materials and processes are in place to achieve sales targets.
The role requires strong product and market knowledge and a focus on maximizing efficiency and profitability.
You will be the main point of contact for any topic related to the Sikla trade counter in Milton Keynes.
Your key duties and responsibilities - Coordinating the setup and organization of the new trade counter - Establishing required resources and investments to make qualified proposals to manageme- Understanding customers' requirements and provide internal feedback about replenishment needs, accordingly.
- Providing customer service and expert advice on products and services - Processing orders, collect payments, process sales documentation and cash reconciliations - Implementing stock control measures - Communicating internal replenishment needs and customer feedback to support decision-making on new products. - Organizing stock displays and ensuring products are well-presented - Working closely with the sales and marketing teams to promote the new trade counter and drive customer engagement. - Actively participating in sales promotions, events, and initiatives to attract new customers and generate business growth.
- Working towards the promotion of the Sikla brand to the local market and contractors.
