Our client , a global leader in electronic design and test solutions at the forefront of technology innovation, is seeking a skilled Test Automation Engineer to join their team on a 12-month contract basis.
This remote role offers competitive rates and requires occasional visits to customer sites.
Responsibilities : ?Develop and optimize test automation scripts to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Create and maintain model-based tests, deriving requirements and creating test data.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to enhance testing processes.
Execute tests, analyse results, and provide detailed technical reporting.
Comply with government security procedures while working on secure sites.
Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers and stakeholders.
Qualification s: Minimum o f 5 years of IT experien ce, with ove r 3 years in Test Automation Engineering.
Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages (Java, Python, etc).
Experience with test management tools and automation frameworks.
Familiarity with automated build pipelines such a s Jenkins, TeamCit y, o r Cucumber Eggplant Functional Training Level 1 : Expert and Eggplant Functional Training Level 2 : Genius certificatio ns, demonstrating a high level of expertise in th e Eggplant Test automation suit e is a big plus.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
UK Citizenship and the ability to comply with UK security clearance requirements.
