Job Role: Temporary Engineering Facilities Technician Location: High Wycombe area Contract Type: Temporary short-term contract Contract Type: Temporary contract, short term Hours: short term contract 8-5 days Job Reward: £25 – 30 per hour paye We are currently recruiting an Engineering Days Facilities Services Technician in the High Wycombe area , Bucks Key Responsibilities - Temporary Engineering Facilities Technician Perform planned preventative maintenance work and associated repairs and installations Air Handling Units and Air conditioning units Commercial and domestic hot & cold-water systems and plumbing systems Monitoring of hot and cold-water systems Repairs and installation work on mechanical and plumbing systems Emergency lighting and electrical maintenance checks in a wide range of properties Undertake routine checks on fire alarms Undertake inspections & repairs to ventilation systems Undertake building fabric visual inspections To diagnose faults and to test and repair, domestic water & sanitation systems, furniture, fixtures, and fittings To observe, recognise , report, and rectify substandard conditions of building finishes and fixtures & fittings Basic plumbing, mechanical & electrical engineering Complete basic Electrical minor work Responsible for the operation and maintenance of our buildings, systems, and services You will be responsible for supporting the site laboratory teams, where you will coordinate maintenance schedules, performing and supervising building repairs (by both maintenance staff and outside contractors) Qualifications & Requirements – Temporary Engineering Facilities Technician Previous work experience within a busy building services or Facilities department, you will have been part of a diverse multifunctional team that covers all aspects of building maintenance in multiple fields Working in a regulated environment requires planned maintenance (preventative maintenance) and reactive maintenance support to designated equipment and all sites' areas (warehouses, office, manufacturing environments), so you must have been exposed to both aspects Experienced within facilities / site services encompassing carpentry, electrical, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) and plumbing Recognised Multi Skilled Qualifications ( Mechanical- Electrical- Controls -Plumbing ) 17th/18th Edition Electrical qualification Previous experience of planned preventive maintenance (PPM) systems Handyman experience Asbestos Awareness Legionella Awareness – Water Management PAT Testing Permit to Work (WAH, Hot Works) Risk Assessment and Method Statements (SSOW) Candidates who are currently a multi-skilled engineer, mechanical engineer, Site Services Engineer, Utilities engineer , Plant Engineer, facilities technician, facilities engineer, Engineer, Plant Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Facilities Engineer Utilities Engineer, manufacturing engineer, maintenance fitter, mechanical engineer, Refrigeration Engineer, Plant Services Engineer, maintenance engineer, shift engineer or maintenance engineer may be suitable for this position.
