RESPONSIBILITIES:Work as part of the Customer Support Team in supporting Johnson Controls customers worldwideBuild technical support resources in the format of documentation and videos for our Customer Support Portal websiteDevelop E-Learning content for our Moodle platform using simulations and videosDevelop and maintain the American Dynamics Support Portal websiteProvide technical support in Linux and Microsoft operating systems and applicationsParticipate in conferences and customer demonstrations to showcase our productsInstall and configure hardware, software and related IT equipment and devicesUpgrade and test customer equipment on customer sitesESSENTIAL QUALITIES: Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal and analytical skillsAbility to communicate clearly and work optimally as part of a teamExperience with Windows XP/7/10/11 or LinuxExperience in working with customersA willingness to learn new skills and accept new challengesQUALIFICATIONS/DESIRED MAJOR: Applicants must be at undergraduate level, currently studying IT, software engineering or related degreeLOCATION: Johnson Controls, 195 Airport Road West, Belfast, BT3 9EDDURATION:12-month student placement
