The Greenpixie TeamOur goal is to save millions of tonnes of GHG emissions over the next 5 years by optimising the cloud. Our people are researchers, developers, innovators, evangelists, and technologists. We are currently building a web application to measure and reduce the carbon emissions of cloud computing - a significant contributor to the climate crisis. We love what we do, and every team member shares a drive to make Greenpixie a global phenomenon.

This RoleYou'll be leading the data-driven technical processes of our innovative climate tech products.
You'll be working directly alongside the CTO to deliver the technical success of our flagship product.
You'll be developing at all ends of the stack, though there is a particular focus on data analysis and building our systems architecture to accommodate it.
We're looking for new ways of doing things, and you'll be making data-led decisions on how to push our products forward in reducing the environmental impact of cloud computing.
You'll have a key voice in the direction of the product, and integrated into the business of our start-up.
Experience CriteriaStrong experience leading the direction of technical projects.Proven experience handling and analysing large data systems.Experience with NodeJS.Docker and Terraform experience.Solid experience with cloud providers such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform and/or MS Azure.Experience with TDD–unit and E2E integration tests.Experience in and knowledge of the environmental sector.Experience with NestJS & GraphQL.Experience with React.Experience with Typescript.Able to improvise design when necessary.BenefitsWork with an amazing team on something that matters.Share options available (we want you to be a part of what we're building!).Team days, socials, company trips.Free lunch on Wednesdays!28 days of holiday per year.We know your time is important and want to make sure our recruitment process gives us both an authentic and meaningful insight into what it would be like working together.
