Job Advertisement: Technical Account Manager (Field-Based) We are seeking a committed Technical Account Manager for a full-time, permanent, field-based position.
This role is ideal for a customer-focused individual with a strong technical background in water treatment and account management, ready to grow and maintain relationships within key industries.
Key Responsibilities: Report directly to the central area manager, achieving individual commercial targets that align with the company's strategic goals.
Manage industrial water treatment applications, including routine testing and oversight of cooling and boiler water treatment at customer sites.
Balance a 20/80 split between new business acquisition and key account management, providing comprehensive service, consultation, and sales support.
Oversee all account activities, including correspondence, contracts, order management, new business implementation, and problem-solving.
Conduct monthly forecasting for financial performance within the territory.
Serve clients across diverse sectors, including food and beverage, metal processing, and general manufacturing.
Key Requirements: Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, chemistry, general engineering, or a science-related discipline.
Proven account management experience, with technical expertise in the water treatment or Legionella Risk sectors.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to excellent customer service.
Valid full driving license required, as frequent travel is essential for this role.
