As a tech apprentice you'll become the first point of contact for Bromford colleagues facing technical issues, offering friendly and proactive support.
We're looking for someone with a passion for technology who is eager to learn and start a career in tech support.
You'll gain hands-on experience with our technologies, processes, and systems, guided by our skilled and approachable team.
As you learn in this role, you'll be able to provide technical assistance, tackle complex issues, and ensure smooth IT operations, using your growing knowledge of Bromford technologies and ITIL practices.
You'll be the go-to person for resolving hardware, software, and network issues, as well as assisting with the setup and maintenance of equipment like desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
With a friendly and engaging approach, you'll manage support tickets, provide troubleshooting guidance, and document your activities to maintain our support records.
You'll also get the opportunity to collaborate with various IT teams to resolve more complex problems and contribute to the creation of support documentation.

This apprenticeship is a full time, 2-year fixed term contract, including 2 years of part time study.
You'll be based from our Wolverhampton (WV10 6TB) office with regular home working available.
The role requires a basic DBS.
There are no specific restrictions on prior qualifications, but you cannot have a Level 3 (or equivalent), or higher qualification, in the same subject as the role you are applying for.
What We're Looking For A keen interest in IT and technology, with a desire to learn and grow in the field.
Basic understanding of computer systems, networks, and software applications.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Customer-focused with a positive attitude and a commitment to providing high-quality service.
