We are looking for enthusiastic and compassionate individuals to join schools and SEN settings across the north of Leeds, including areas such as Alwoodley, Moortown, and Chapel Allerton.
This role offers flexibility, allowing you to work around your schedule, while many placements lead to long-term or permanent opportunities.
About the Role As a Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils with additional needs, including those with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), or behavioural difficulties.
Your role is vital in creating a safe, structured, and positive learning environment.
By using your Team Teach skills, you'll manage and de-escalate challenging behaviour, ensuring that all pupils feel secure and supported.
Working closely with teachers and staff, you'll assist with classroom activities, provide one-to-one or small group support, and help pupils overcome barriers to learning.
Your ability to build trusting relationships and act as a positive role model will inspire pupils to engage, make progress, and develop confidence.
