Radis Community Care have an opportunity for a Team Leader to join our team based at our new Extra Care Scheme, The Cannons.
The Cannons Extra Care Scheme in Essex contains one and two bedroom apartments, set within a spectacular, late-Georgian building. At this present time, we are unable to consider Sponsorship for this role. About the role As a Team Leader you will provide support to our extra care complex, providing specialised support to individuals.
Radis recognise each person as an individual and provide a unique service which is tailored to their specific needs and provide a consistent approach throughout their life.
You will be the first point of contact for the package, providing supervisions / meetings and support to the Care Workers.
The role will require you to schedule / allocate work to the Care Workers ensuring personal care and all care tasks are client specific.
You will also support with medication, personal care tasks and offer support within the community.
You will also be required participate in the on-call rota and provide cover for care and Radis' housing related support duties when emergency cover is required.

The successful candidate will have an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care working towards Level 3, or happy to gain the qualification.
You will have good written and verbal commination skills and have a willingness to learn in line with clients needs and expectations.
This role requires you to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
A driving licence with access to a vehicle will be desirable but not essential.
