Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for a kind and experienced Team Administrator to join our friendly and dedicated colleagues of the Scarborough Whitby & Ryedale child and adolescent community mental health team based at Lake House.The service provides services and delivers care to children and young people in the Scarborough locality with both mental health and neurological difficulties.As a member of the team you will work in the team office, alongside medical secretaries to provide support to the clinical staff within the team.The office is an area of high activity, and no two days are the same.

Main duties of the job This role is at the heart of the multi-disciplinary team and is a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations.
As part of the administration team you will work closely with clinicians, to ensure that they have everything they need to provide the best possible care to our service users.We are looking for someone who feels comfortable multi-tasking in a busy environment and that can prioritise their workload and work to deadlines.
An individual with excellent understanding and experience of using IT software such as Microsoft Office which will be used to maintain the trust systems and processes.The successful candidate will have contact with service users, families and carers as well as members of the public, and will require excellent interpersonal skills and possess and uphold the trust values of Respect, Compassion and Responsibility.

Person Specification Qualifications Essential Level 3 Qualification in relevant field or equivalent experience or willingness to work towards Level 3 qualification in Leadership and Management.
Key skills/functional skills in literacy and numeracy Level 2 OR O Level (Grade C and above/New GCSE in Maths and English (Grade 4 to 9) are an essential requirement to be fully competent in the role.
Where an applicant does not have the above qualifications or are unable to provide evidence of the certification, the applicant MUST achieve the required standards during their probationary period.
Desirable Level 3 Qualification in Leadership and Management.
RSA Level 2 or equivalent Secretarial/administrative experience in a clinical environment.
Experience Essential Experience of working in an administrative environment (diary management, filing systems, meeting coordination, minute talking, data input, collating and presenting information).
Customer Service experience (face to face, answering calls, correspondence).
Experience of organising completing demands and workloads.
Experience of setting up and maintenance of administrative systems and processes.
Experience of working autonomously and proactively Desirable Experience of supporting/supervising staff.
Experience of handling monies and working within financial guidelines.
Knowledge Essential Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
