We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant team.
This role involves working closely with children who require additional support to access the curriculum and thrive in their learning environment.
Key Responsibilities: Supporting pupils with SEN in their learning, social development, and emotional well-being.
Assisting the class teacher in delivering tailored lesson plans and activities.
Promoting inclusion and providing 1:1 or small group support as needed.
Aiding in personal care, mobility, and managing sensory or emotional needs where applicable.
Liaising with parents, carers, and professionals to ensure consistent support.
Requirements: Experience working with children or young people, ideally in an SEN setting (preferred but not essential).
A patient, empathetic, and proactive attitude.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A full UK driving licence is essential for this role, as travel to multiple locations across Newbury may be required.
