Job Type: Full time Job Location: Benfleet School Setting: Special School Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent   REF: SENDIRECT/191649 Rate: £85-£110 per day Hours: 8:30-15:30 Start Date: Immediately   We are seeking a compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant Special School in Benfleet.
This full-time position comes with a temporary to permanent contract, offering an excellent opportunity to support students with special educational needs in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
  As a Teaching Assistant, you will provide tailored support to students, helping them engage with the curriculum and develop essential life skills.
You will work closely with teachers and support staff to create a positive and structured learning environment.

  Key Responsibilities: Provide classroom support to students with special educational needs.
Assist with the implementation of individual learning plans.
Help create a safe and positive learning environment.
Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and staff.
Support students in developing social, emotional, and academic skills.
Work collaboratively with teaching staff and external professionals.
Qualifications and Experience: Experience working with students with special educational needs is desirable but not essential.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A positive and empathetic approach to supporting students.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
