Job Description A well-established firm of Chartered Accountants based in Shoreham-by-Sea is seeking a Tax Manager to join their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced tax professional to work with a varied and interesting portfolio of clients.
Key Client Portfolio: High net worth individuals Owner-managed businesses and private companies Property management companies Trusts and one-off assignments Key Responsibilities: Preparation of tax returns using Digita software Liaising directly with clients to handle queries and provide excellent service Identifying and considering tax planning opportunities Managing workflow to ensure deadlines are met and returns filed on time Ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations Additional Responsibilities (optional depending on experience): Preparation of corporation tax returns and tax planning Capital gains tax and inheritance tax planning Overseeing payroll processes and ensuring compliance Requirements Ideal Candidate: Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a practice environment Strong organisational and communication skills An appropriate tax qualification (ATT, CTA, or equivalent) is preferred Experience with Digita software is desirable but not essential Ability to manage a varied workload and work independently Benefits What's on Offer: Salary and benefits are negotiable based on skills, experience, and qualifications Flexible working hours, with the potential for a 4-day week The opportunity to work with a supportive and collaborative team If you're an experienced tax professional looking for a new challenge, we'd love to hear from you!
