A large listed company operating across Europe and North America are looking for a Tax Manager based in London.

Responsibilities: Develop and implement effective tax strategies to optimize the company's direct tax position.
Responsible for tax reporting and accounting for the UK Group, undertaking an annual review of deferred tax balances and tax reporting and accounting for the individual subsidiaries Research and interpret tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance Leading the process for any tax related inspections including liaising with auditors/authorities, working with the Finance team to pull together analysis of historical data and decisions Implementing improved processes to ensure timely and accurate forecasting of tax liabilities / reclaims into the latest budgeting and forecasting process.
Flagging the potential risks and opportunities of all tax matters Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring accuracy and completeness Manage tax audits and coordinate responses to tax authorities Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide tax guidance for business decisions Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations Identify and implement opportunities for tax savings and minimize tax liabilities Take a lead role in identifying financial and operational process improvements for tax reporting, working with the rest of the Finance team to ensure any changes meet the agreed specification Requirements: Previous Tax experience preferred ACA and/or CTA qualified or have a similar relevant qualification in tax or accounting.
