Description Cubico is looking for a Tax Manager to join the Group Finance Team based in London.
The role involves a mix of compliance, advisory and structuring work across Cubico's international portfolio.
Key Responsibilities Primary responsibility for the preparation of UK tax returns, claims and elections and statutory accounts provisioning for approximately 25 entities; Oversight of the outsourced transfer pricing documentation process and input into the general transfer pricing approach and strategy of the group; Monitoring of overseas tax compliance work to ensure all obligations are being met, involving dialogue with overseas advisers and finance teams; Supporting tax advisory, deals and structuring work across the group.
This typically includes due diligence and structuring of new acquisitions/developments, disposal of projects, corporate restructuring and group financing; Providing assistance on tax audits; Review of the quarterly UK VAT returns.
Key Stakeholders: Head of Tax Local country finance teams Other corporate functions such as Treasury, Legal, Origination & Execution (O&E) and Investment Analysis & Strategy ("IAS") Skills, Knowledge and Expertise The successful candidate will be/have:  Degree educated with a tax background and a professional accounting and/or tax qualification such as ACA, CTA etc, ideally with 2-3 years post-qualification experience;  Fluent in English, a working knowledge of Spanish would be useful but is not essential; Prior experience of working at tax manager level in industry or an accounting firm with international exposure; Working knowledge of UK tax preparation software, preferably OneSource; Experience of working in or with either the renewables, infrastructure or energy industry would be advantageous; Competencies: Self-driven with the ability to manage diverse workloads and meet deadlines; Commercially minded, with an ability to communicate tax concepts with stakeholders from across the business; Proactive, pragmatic, positive, and solution-oriented; Team-oriented, open to information sharing, and contributing to group knowledge of tax  Established in 2015, Cubico Sustainable Investments (Cubico), a London-headquartered firm, is one of the world's leaders in providing renewable energy across the Americas, Europe and Australia.
