We are looking for an enthusiastic Sustainability & Environmental Compliance Advisor to lead our green initiatives and make a tangible impact.
In this dynamic role, you will oversee all aspects of environmental reporting and compliance management across our organisation.
From statutory reporting and managing audits to calculating our carbon footprint and setting ambitious sustainability targets, you will play a crucial part in shaping our Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) report.
Your expertise will guide the implementation of environmental strategies, policies, and initiatives, ensuring we meet regulations and relevant standards.
You will also champion sustainable practices and energy management throughout our business, driving significant reductions in carbon emissions.
In this role, you will report into our Group Health, Safety and Environment Manager, and form a key part of our Facilities team.
Key responsibilities: Calculate site emissions and assist with the organisation's carbon footprint in compliance with ISO 14067 and ISO 14001 standards.
Compile, analyse, and report on environmental impact and sustainability metrics for energy, travel, waste, and packaging.
Coordinate and complete annual Environmental Management System (EMS) audits to maintain accreditation.
Collate energy data across all UK sites and enter into compliance reporting systems, including our internal carbon reporting tool.
Manage energy purchasing for all PRH sites.
Oversee online environmental reporting portals.
Communicate with external auditors to meet external audit requirements.
Ensure compliance with ESOS, PWR, EPR, SECR, and F-gas Regulations.
Ensure compliance with waste management regulations and maintain records of waste categories, quantities, and disposal methods.
Track carbon emissions reductions and improve waste diversion rates.
Report and analyse travel data across the business, identify initiatives for sustainable travel practices, and monitor best practices to reduce fleet emissions and freight transport.
What you will bring: Experience in data capturing, reporting, auditing, and compliance management.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of producing detailed reports.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively to achieve environmental goals.
Effective and clear communication to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
In-depth knowledge of carbon reporting.
Familiarity with energy management systems and smart meter technology.
Strong attention to detail and adept at prioritising tasks.

What you can expect from us: Salary: circa £35,000 dependent on how your skills and experience align to the role, plus bonus and benefits.
